Women Empowerment Legacy Of The Women Rights Movement: The Womens Rights Movement first launched in Seneca Falls, NY at the Women Rights Convention in 1848. Since then women have fought hard for the change that has become today. It has not been an easy fight with much planning and organization for lectures, marches, petitions, lobbies, and parades paving the way for new ground to be broken. Young women and girls today have no idea of the struggles of the generations of women before them. Many have taken for granted their right to vote and their fight to be equal. It is something that should be taught in depth in our high school history books. With knowledge comes power and the young women today should know and never forget the battles that have been fought for them. Kaigal water falls are near Byreddipalli, between Palamner & Kuppam national highway 219. It's not safe to go alone or only family on normal days as it's in side the forest and ~ 2 kms walk from parking place. Good to plan with few families / friends. Natural water falls & you all enjoy it. Locally the falls is called as Dumukuralla Water Falls. Jathara's (means festival gathering) are normally happen near temples or locations specified for events, like drama, mainly MahaBharat play. This is major locations for entertainment, shopping and worship for rural people of Andhra Pradesh. Major attractions, other than God / Worship are: shops of different eatables, gambling games, entertainment activities, folk songs with dancing etc., Few snaps are given below, taken during 'Ganga jathara' at Chowdepalli, in 2011.

Jaggery making (In telugu: Ganuga aadatam) is a long process for the forming community and the duration involves very long hard working days but lot of fun is possible as many folks will be working. Normally, the work involves: Cutting sugar cane, moving them from field to prep place, cleaning canes, crushing them through Crusher machine, moving cane juice to storage tank which is in the process of heating the juice, boiling pawn, making the jaggery to shapes, drying them, transporting them to home and keeping them in storage room. I spent many years working this (Ganuga aadatam) which is normally 30 to 50 days, yearly once, starts in Feb / Mar time frame of the year. Olden days, sugar cane was crushing using crushers powered by Oxes and later crushers were run using Diesel oil or Electricity. Talakona:  One of the beutiful place in Chittoor district of Andhrapradesh, India. Thalakona is popular because of Lord Shiva Temple, Water falls ( > 270 feet) and Forest environment. You can enjoy the water falls bath any time of the year and walk from temple to falls is really memorable.
