Traffic @ B'lore

It's wonderful to see urbanisation growth one side but infrastructure is not growing in the same way !! As a result, live's on travel are more painful day-by-day.
My house situated 0.5 km inside ORR and all vehicle's enter in residential area and chock the roads. Some days, I come down from house and manage traffic at junction, in front of house, going towards TinFactory, from Marathalli .....
  • Happy feeling that saved many folks time :)
  • But pain to manage some rude drivers :(
Is there a solution in near future !?

Jaggery making

Jaggery making (In telugu: Ganuga aadatam) is a long process for the forming community and the duration involves very long hard working days but lot of fun is possible as many folks will be working. Normally, the work involves: Cutting sugar cane, moving them from field to prep place, cleaning canes, crushing them through Crusher machine, moving cane juice to storage tank which is in the process of heating the juice, boiling pawn, making the jaggery to shapes, drying them, transporting them to home and keeping them in storage room. I spent many years working this (Ganuga aadatam) which is normally 30 to 50 days, yearly once, starts in Feb / Mar time frame of the year. Olden days, sugar cane was crushing using crushers powered by Oxes and later crushers were run using Diesel oil or Electricity. Kodipandem (Rooster / Cock fight)    It's very interesting, competitive and joyful event / game during summer holidays (Dec to May) in near by villages. This event is traditionally followed and normally organized by local head / leader who manages the venue, shops and other activities (playing cards, drinks & ... ). Big People (Village heads) grow the roosters healthy to win  against rivals to show their power to win against rival families. Cockfights usually starts around 11 am to 11:50 am and continues till evening (~ 7pm) under huge Tree or set of tree's.
